I think it says quite a bit about me that this makes tears stream down my face.

Then again, maybe it also says something about genetics, as my mother's exact words were: I cry every time someone drops it in my inbox. Her kindly circle of yoga-doing, art-making, garden-therapizing friends have developed a habit of sending videos of this ilk, ( Read more... )

It's amazing how much my body can hurt, from what's just a nightly adventure or a mellow night out, to someone else. My muscles are re-learning. My heart is re-stringing-

I breathe to calm shaky fingers. Always apply a firm hand when dipping into ones' own cardio-thoracic cavity.

I wonder, sometimes. Do you still exist? Do you even remember me? I feel like I've faded from most people's memory, but everyone's still burned hot and bright into mine.

I think about you, and my former nest, from time to time.
