I...found this in the fridge. What is it? What sort of creature laid an egg like this

[ Crona walks in, but it's Ragnarok that makes the comment as they spot that big egg. ]

Woah!! I bet you could make one hell of an omelet with that thing! Better let me have some when you crack it open!

No, sorry, Ragnarok. We're not going to eat it.

But I'm staaaaaaaaaaarving! Please can we cook it?

.. Liar, since we got here you've been eating all the time. How can you be starving?-- Ow!

[ And then the usual: hair tugging, cheek pulling, nose poking- ]
Shut it, Crona! That egg looks like it might be tasty and I want a piece of it!

[She sets aside the egg so she doesn't accidentally drop it while trying to get between the two and cautiously pats Ragnarok on the head.]

If you're hungry, I can make you something else! I can make you whatever you want. Just not this egg, it's not edible...there's actually something alive in there.

[ Ragnarok ponders the possibilities while Crona is more curious about this egg! ]

So... something is gonna hatch out of the egg? What kind of animal hatches from an egg that big?

I don't really know, we'll have to wait and find out, huh? Would you be willing to help us take care of the egg, Crona?

Do you think that's okay? I'm kind of clumsy, what if I break it? I'm not sure I can deal with that kind of responsibility.

It's okay, we can do it together! You can just set it down somewhere to keep it warm and I'll make sure you don't have any accidents.
