Hurray! I finally made a perfect London Broil. I'm mostly writing this recipe here for me to refer back to, but I thought I'd post it for anyone else who'd like to give it a shot. We don't have a real broiler, we just have an oven that only uses the top coil for broiling. I don't know how this would work in a real broiler

And I made a correction above: it was on the top rack. I was thinking it would be too close to the coil, but it wasn't, so I moved it up there before I started cooking.
