I read a longer version of that! Where the president of Planned Parenthood called Bush's abstinence only sex-ed a "$1.5 billion failure," and the scientists mentioned teenagers falling for sexual health myths I'd never even heard of. First, that withdrawing protects you from STDs, and "douching with Coca Cola kills STD germs." WTF!??!?! Do you pour coke over your skinned knee? No? Because it doesn't kill germs? DUH! *headdesk* Come on, if you're going to have unprotected sex and then douche to "take care of it," at least use something from your bathroom cupboard that makes some sort of sense! Peroxide! Alcohol! Fricking Listerine! I'm so angry/sad right now.
