Only if you don't put enough flour on your hands. But if you coat them, you don't have to worry about the stickiness! The flour does get everywhere, though...

Huh, but then...wouldn't the buns end up with too much flour on them?
And the messiness sounds like a big problem! I hope it washes out of clothes, but I'm sure the kitchen still needs a lot of clean-up after something as messy as baking buns.

You have to be careful not to put too much, or it gets really floury. That's why it's tough! You have to have a real gentle hand.
I admit, it is kind of annoying; it gets everywhere. Not just on your clothes, but sometimes your face and hair, too! But it's easy to wash out, so it's not a problem. The kitchen space usually is a big mess, though.
