[There seems to be a festive atmosphere all throughout Garden. Why? Because it's the Homecoming Carnival! The Garden Festival Committee has been hard at work all morning and when 1300 hours strikes, it's finally open for everyone to enjoy.
There's a map on the Directory which shows where everything is located:

Are you two still at it?
[Jeez, and she thought the kiss would solve everything...] Maybe you should try the Ferris Wheel next. I hear it's pretty nice up there.

[And that just makes her mad, she just scowls, because that's not cool.]
So what? You don't think I'm serious do you? It's obvious M'gann likes Conner. You think I'm going to get in the way of that? Because I'm not.
I can't say the same for you, Kid Clueless.
[She might be scowling, but that doesn't stop her for reaching out for some of those cheese curds. She'd almost feel bad about complaining if he wasn't being such a jerk right now. Taking a few she pulls her hand away.]
Thanks. [Gee her thanks isn't a very pleasant one, but no one is surprised by this.]
What do you mean still at it?
[She's never actually met Cissie in person after all and knows nothing about this kiss thing.]

He's glad that his mind lets him run several thoughts at once. First, what's this whole business about M'gann and Supey? If there's anything going on there, -total- violation of the Bro code. He got some weird vibes earlier on.
Next, and more importantly at the moment, there's the whole kiss thing. Cissie isn't really going to make him do it, is she? And why does it have to make him feel all weird?! Not cool.
Swallows his cheese curds and looks to the ferris wheel.]
Uh, yeah, sure. Ferris wheel, that'll be fun. Yep, let's head on over there.
[Starts to tug Artemis that-a-way.]

You haven't done it, have you. [It's a statement, not a question, and quite frankly? She's a little disappointed.] I'm not kidding about my next archery target, Wally.

Done what? [She turns to glance at Wally.] What is she talking about?

Would someone tell me something?

[Thumbs over at Cissie, looking increasingly annoyed. But he doesn't want to get nailed by arrows all day. He's fast but he needs to stop and eat from time to time.]

[The look on her face is one of pure and utter horror. Kiss Wally? What? But why? Why would anyone think that she wanted to kiss him?]
Are you out of your mind?!

It's just one kiss, guys. From the sounds of it, you'd think I just asked you to go kill something.

[Wally knows Cissie's type. Robin is the same way. The more you make a big deal out of "nothing", the harder he presses it and trolls.]
I want to enjoy the carnival and not worry about this stupid stuff.
[Time to do what he does best; act and not think. Because if he thinks about it, it's going to make his thoughts race and he'll feel more and more awkward.
So 'sup, Artemis. He walks over to her and places his hands on her face. He gives her a second to know what's about to happen, so she's not completely blind sided. Then his eyes close over and he presses his lips against hers.]

[She opens her mouth to say something, but Wally's already headed her way and anything she's going to say gets forgotten.
When his hands touch her face she goes completely stiff and almost thinks about fighting him for a moment, but then his mouth is on hers and fighting is the last thing on her mind. Competitiveness is not; however, at least this way she can prove she's a better kiss, right? This has nothing to do with actually wanting to kiss Wally, because she doesn't. It's just proving that he's not all that.
So she presses closer, kisses him back, all while being quite intent on proving a point. Or that's what she'll claim anyway. Stupid denial.]

She silently heads off towards the opposite end of the food booth to buy yet another round of cake pops (just in case Bart shows up, of course). This time, she figures she doesn't need to tell them how proud she is of them; they can probably figure that part out all on their own.]
