TEN different things you want to say to ten different people
1. Good or bad, whenever anything happens in my life, you're the first person I call. It's because of you that I am the way I am, because you suffered and sacrificed so I could have everything I needed. You are, without a doubt, the most important person in my life.
2. We had some really rough times a few years ago that absolutely broke my heart, but I know that without them, and you, that I wouldn't be nearly as independent or self-sufficient as I am. And I have to thank you for that.
3. It makes me sad that you hold onto so much hate and anger, especially towards people that I love, and I really hope that one day you can learn to be happy again.
4. You are one of the few people in my life who I can completely be myself around. Unfortunately for you, the real me is the sort of person who will mispronounce fajita to creep you out, and embarrass you by playing possibly racist songs at the drive-thru window. Sorry.
5. We may not always understand where the other is coming from, but I know that you'll always be there for me, because you're my one and only twinnie.
6. Over the last couple of years, I've been able to watch you change from my geek-boy internet buddy into this awesome husband and father, and it just reminds me how dedicated, loving, and loyal you are. There truly are not enough people like you in the world, and I miss you.
7. I'm really worried about you. You don't ever talk about your fiancée like you're in love with him, and I think this marriage might be a mistake, but I don't know how to tell you. Thank you for coming to your senses.
8. There's a reason our friendship has lasted through so many rough situations. Despite being so different, we always understand each other. I don't think I'd be the same without you in my life. You bring me out of my shell the way few people can.
9. Even though I kind of wanted to hate you when we first met, you made it impossible not to love you, and I'm really glad we're friends.
10. You've come into your own so much over the past couple of years, I just wish that you would stop judging your self-worth by your relationships.
NINE things about yourself
1. I know that my spirit guides are always with me and I talk to them all the time; whether it's thanking them for something or asking for a little help when I'm trying to find my keys.
2. I eat insanely fast. It comes from growing up with my mom and my uncle, who are both hairdressers and would never schedule themselves lunch breaks. So they would inhale their food in whatever five minute window they could find, and I picked up the habit.
3. One of my favorite animals is the manatee. The Sea Cow. I even have a stuffed one in my room. His name is Marlon.
4. During the digital pet craze, I had a Giga Pet Frog that never grew past the tadpole stage, because I couldn't keep it alive for more than two days.
5. My younger sisters couldn’t pronounce my name when they were little, so we tried to get them to say "Kell" instead. They somehow mutated that into Kaka - and that’s what they called me until they were almost six.
6. One of my favorite jobs ever was an acting gig called "The Dragon's Castle." It was interactive theatre for little kids, and I was cast as the Princess. Nothing beats getting a big hug from a little girl who thinks you're a real princess. Plus my dress was freaking amazing.
7. Once when I was younger I was laying on the floor watching television when one of my sisters walked up, picked up an empty glass on the floor and smacked me over the head with it. I had a goose-egg about the size of a golf ball on my forehead and nearly got a concussion.
8. I absolutely love shopping for office supplies. Take me to Office Max and it's like a kid in a candy store.
9. When I was seven years old, a boy in my class came over to my house to bring me a troll doll he had bought for me, and when I opened the door and saw him on my porch, I freaked out and slammed the door shut in his face. I stayed hidden behind the door while my mom had to open it back up, take the troll, and apologize profusely. That impulse still remains today when cute boys act interested in me.
