In a really good decade I surrounded myself with equally curious people, several of whom were equally weird in various ways. We did some remarkable work, much of it while I was learning the territory. A couple of promotions later I began to develop the same reputation for know-it-all behavior that I'd had in high school, so it was time to leave again.
Now in my 60s I'm finding that the best thing for me is to spend at least a few hours each day solving problems that I find interesting, preferably problems no one else is working on. As my intellectual powers begin to wane I'm finding my intuition is strengthening. I'm learning to live in the moment more and more.
From my perspective, we are the ones who will come back to do great things next lifetime, based on who we were in this one.
Wishing you plenty of love, light and laughter in all you do
