I guess I just try to imagine what they'd really say in the ridiculous situations I put them in. I have to say that I've come to really love Ron in particular, even though I don't consider him a "romantic" figure.

I'm going to be sad to leave them all behind once this is finished, but I think I'd like to try something different with the ship--maybe a little outside my comfort zone--next.

WHY? Why would you do that to my town? Hackensack isn't ALL bad.
Ok, so it's got nicknames like "Crackensack" and "Hack-en-slash", but really.
Why not, Hackensack, Minnesota? (thought I suppose that would be HIGHLY unlikely)
Ah, well. I suppose it could be worse. Though we've got our better references, thank you Billy Joel and Fountains of Wayne, we were going to be blown up by Lex Luthor. Superman was cool and saved us, though. AWESOME. I love Christopher Reeve.

LOL. I'm honestly not sure why I picked it. Well, it had to be Jersey since that's where the character is from (and, also where I'm from) and Hackensack is just a great name. So, consider it a compliment! :D

I really need to pay better attention to updates. I just realized I was about 3 chapters behind in this story. Not that it wasn't great reading, but I can't believe I deprived myself of this much fun for so long. Anyway, as always, you've put together so much fun and humor in this story, I just sit here at my computer and laugh(okay, so my kids walk by and give me some seriously strange looks--mom's losing it....). All of your characters are so full of life! Can't wait to see how this ends~
