Where I come from, they're pretty advanced. They use them for surgeries and stuff. Also, for needlessly complex killing machines in bad movies.

Hmm. It is always most interesting to see how technology has evolved since my time.

Almost any technology can be used for good or for evil. Are lasers used for killing people or animals, in your era?

Well, a lot's been made of the subject. Like I said, in action movies and science fiction, but I don't know how frequently that sort of thing happens in the real world. But I mean, if it were a military program or something, I wouldn't know about it. So it's not impossible.

Because now they can curse us, kill us, bring us here, send us home, and make us crispy-fried on a whim. Yes.

While I thought we were taking some time to talk and work things out and put our relationship back together, he decided we were broken up and slept with a couple of women - to feed from them. Which, was my only deal breaker for this mess of a relationship we had. Sleeping with - I get that he needs to feed, but he'd promised me he wouldn't do that, said he didn't have to.

He didn't tell me that sipping was no longer enough and he didn't want to feed on me.
