1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Angela is about 5'5" and 116lbs. She has an hourglass figure, which she flaunts to her best ability and is quite proud of. She's more petite than commanding, but has the ability to straighten up and hold herself like royalty when she needs to.

2. How old is she?
19, she'll be 20 soon.

3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch?
Typically Angela can be found with her hands on her hips, head tipped just a little. She's flirtatious even in the way she stands and moves, though this is all usually much more casual than would be expected from a princess. She doesn't pull out the perfect posture and raised chin unless she's in a position where she needs to use her royal background to her advantage.

4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Angela's relatively fit, but due to the fact that her people emphasize magic over physical strength, she's not terribly ( ... )

8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style.
Probably her most defining feature, Angela's hair is long, thick, and purple. Angela takes meticulous care of her hair, and almost always wears it down. She has long bangs that she parts at the center and that wave away from her face. She can be found combing, brushing, and fussing with her hair late at night before bed.

9. What color are her eyes?
Bright green, a different color from her mother's purple.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Her ears are pointed due to the Altenan royal blood that runs in her veins. If Angela traced her family tree back far enough, she'd likely find out she has some elven blood, which explains how the women in her family age so gracefully. Unlike Carlie, though, Angela's lifespan isn't extended and her aging isn't significantly delayed.

11. What are her chief tension centers?
Her back due to her heavy boobs tendency to stand with a rocked hip.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors ( ... )

❧ Speech, Language, and Voice witchmaker December 15 2010, 08:30:30 UTC
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Her voice is lower than your average squeaky female character. She does the husky, sexy thing really well. At the same time though, she can get obnoxious, has your generic evil anime female character laugh (oh ho ho ho ho ho!), and can be really grating when someone pisses her off and she starts bitching them out.

2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate?
Angela's pretty good at speaking in both a private and public manner. She's been trained as a princess despite her homeland's attitude towards her, and she knows how to make her words clear. She can be childish, though, accuses people and jumps to conclusions. Her favorite j'accuse is "liar!" She's blunt that way, and doesn't mince words when she's angry.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? She doesn't exactly sound like a princess unless she finds the ( ... )

1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart?
Angela is largely book-smart. She's not as smart as Koren, but she's still rather intelligent. She's more dumb about affairs of the heart and life experience due to her sheltered and strange childhood. She's only spent a few months outside Altena, and has pretty much had a baptism-by-fire about the way the world works. Some parts of it still horrify her, particularly the slave trade and abuse of women and children. She doesn't have the skills to cope with harsh reality.

2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate?
She thinks on her feet when it comes to combat-- Angela has learned how to assess a target's elemental weakness, keep track of what day/time it is to use the most effective spells, and which monsters to aim for first. She's had to learn all this in order to survive and protect her friends. If she has the option, though, she will take her time to plan out her moves and set up contingency plans.

8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Angela keeps people at a distance. Even her close friends haven't broken entirely through her shell. She's friendly and flirtatious, but not touchy-feely. She doesn't trust easily, and she won't open up unless the situation calls for it. This is partially because she doesn't really understand what it is to be dependent and to trust someone completely. It's also due to the traumatic experience of having someone she once allowed see her at her weakest threaten her life.

9. Is she more likely to act, or to react?
Angela is largely reactive. She will protect others if they are in trouble, though.

10. Which is her default: fight or flight?
Fight. Angela is too stubborn to turn tail, especially now that she can actually defend herself.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? Angela loves, loves, LOVES pranks. She also teases and makes sexual innuendo like no ( ... )

1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents.
WELL LET'S SEE. Her mom is crazy and evil, treated her like a piece of furniture if she even acknowledged her presence, and currently wants her dead. Angela is unaware that her father is actually King Richard of Forcena because he hasn't exactly stepped up to take any responsibility for the daughter he's just finally met. (Deadbeat dad? YEP.)

So in summation: Not good. Not good at all. Kind of horrible and traumatic, actually.

That said, Angela still has a tremendous amount of respect for her mother. While she knows Valda's actions aren't justifiable, she is defensive of her mother and will not tolerate any kind of insult to her. Angela's worship of her mother is akin to a kind of Stockholm syndrome, and while her mother may treat her like garbage and want her to die, it's been ingrained in Angela that her mother > everything else, ever, and no one has any right to pass judgment on her.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? She's an ( ... )

8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends?
Friends. But she still wants to save her mother. Despite the lack of love and death threat, Angela doesn't hate her.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once?
Single. She's never dated anyone, has no suitors, and is very, very inexperienced.

10. Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
Nope. She is innocent to the ways of loooove.

11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest?
Duran for both. :[ She may be developing some Somarium crushes, though.

12. What does she look for in a romantic partner?
She isn't sure. She likes tough guys from what she can tell. She's abrasive and even cruel sometimes, so her love interest has to have a spine and be willing to dish back as much sass as she gives out. Other than that, the world is a shiny new world of possibilities. She never has thought too much about it before.

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does she ( ... )

1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does she fit type?
No clue. Fa'Diel doesn't use the calendar years necessary. I do like to think Angela was born on Salamando's day, though, which probably accounts for her fiery temper and passionate attitude.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life?
Angela is religious enough. She knows all about the Goddess, believes in Her, is on a holy mission from Her, and isn't afraid to tell people about how her world works in terms of mana being the life force in everything. Angela feels very warmly toward the Goddess due to the fact that she can now use mana magic, and thus has a connection with the Goddess that she neve thought she'd experience.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?Angela knows two things: What her mother is doing is wrong, and what the Goddess says goes. She acts accordingly. Her morals ( ... )
