CHARACTER
✧NAME: Angela
✧SERIES: Seiken Densetsu 3
✧HISTORY:
Bam. ✧TIMELINE: Post-game
✧PERSONALITY: Sassy, self-important, and flirtatious, Angela is still a bit childish despite the fact that she's pretty much had the adventure of a lifetime. She has grown a little, though, if only because she's had to toughen up in order to survive a journey that involved fighting against her mother and her former friend who were under the control of an evil creature known as the Dragon Emperor. Angela was once whiny and prissy, and while she's still slightly both, she's learned to suck it up and be a big girl. She's also learned what it is to have friends, how to be someone important to someone else, and that she's really not as worthless as she thought she was.
That said, the journey she went on was only marginally successful, and of the six heroes this has impacted her the most. With magic gone in her world, Angela has lost everything she once had-- the magic she longed for and finally learned to use has started to vanish. Her kingdom will no longer be able to exist without its magic flame, and even if it did, Angela's royal status has lost all meaning without the flame around for her to keep burning. She wants to be happy that her adventure is over and that she and her friends managed to keep the world from being destroyed. That time of her life was probably the time when things made the most sense, and when she was her happiest despite the danger. She can't help wishing it wasn't over. Now she has to find her place all over again, and she doesn't know what to do or what to make of herself now that she doesn't have the power she once did.
On the outside Angela still manages to put on a brave face. She remains upbeat and continues to be a flirt and a tease. Inside she's still confused and unsure of who she is and what she really wants.
✧ABILITIES/POWERS: Angela uses mana magic, which is separated into eight different elements. Of these eight, Angela can use six: fire, water/ice, shadow, earth, light, and air/lightning. I'm working with Angela's Grand Devina build, which makes her stronger with light element than shadow element, and gives her the ability to layer spells with double spell, though doing so is more draining than casting one spell at a time. Other than that, Angela can smack things with her scepter and pout like nobody's business.
✧TIME OF ARRIVAL: Day
✧MASK DESIGN:
A pretty white/glittery mask ✧PLACE OF SOLACE: A section of the Lampflower Forest, with tall trees and glowy flowers everywhere.

✧FIRST PERSON:
Hopefully a journal entry/thread will do! ✧THIRD PERSON: The sneeze echoed off the walls of the storage room, and immediately Angela clasped a hand over her mouth in a vain attempt to silence herself, despite the fact that she'd already made enough noise to alert just about anyone in the area of her presence. She waited, listening, hoping no one had heard her, and relaxed when no footsteps or rustling betrayed a curious guard or well-meaning but insufferable tutor. She heaved a sigh, watching the specks of dust swirl, dancing away from the force of her breath. She'd stirred up a decent amount of the stuff simply by coming in here. The sneeze hadn't helped, and the air was spotted with the particles that coated long resting and, if not forgotten, then at least neglected things.
She had come here mostly for peace and quiet away from frantic teachers and nervous servants and diplomats, but found herself lingering in the musty air that tickled her nose and made her skin crawl out of pure intrigue. In the finely crafted cases before her lay the earthly possessions of her ancestors, everything they couldn't take with them to the Holy Land when the Goddess called them there. She plucked at the fingers of a glove, and quickly removed both from her hands, tucking them into the space between her breasts before leaning over to run her hand over a white case with golden detailing on its handles and lid. Carefully, she popped the clasps keeping the contents sealed away from the world. A few moths greeted her as she lifted the top, and she quickly waved them out of her face. Laying atop a bed of crushed white velvet, the faces of many clear gemstones glittered up at her, thankfully unaffected by the blanket of dirt that covered its case. Angela cupped a hand under a silver chain and brought the gems into the light for inspection. They twinkled like a handful blue and white stars as they caught the stray rays of sunlight sneaking in through the wooden blinds on the nearby window.
A voice came from behind her. Angela jumped in shock, slamming the lid of the trunk and leaning back against it in a move that was hardly worthy of a master thief. Holding a candle in hand, Koren regarded her with an even stare. He watched her for a long moment, and Angela had a sinking feeling that it he was waiting for her to say something. She willed herself to swallow.
"... What?"
"I was saying, that probably belonged to Queen Gwyneira, if the jewels are any indication."
"What did?"
"That." Koren pointed at her right hand, and Angela regarded the necklace she was still holding. She'd made a big show of closing the lid, but had forgotten to put the jewelry back. A Navarre thief she was not.
"This?"
"That." Koren offered his palm, and Angela placed the necklace delicately in his hand. "She took the idea of being a snow queen to a whole new level. Sapphires, pearls, white silver. She wore thick fur stoles every day, and didn't own one dress with short sleeves."
"But the royal family keeps Altena warm year round."
"The Altenian royal family is also a bit eccentric, if you haven't noticed." Koren gave her a little smirk, and once he was content with inspecting the necklace, handed it back.
"I should have you locked up for that comment. How in the world did you find me?" She sat up a little then, easing the lid of the case open once more. "I didn't exactly tell anyone I was coming here."
"I've caught more colds from you than I can count. I'd know that sneeze anywhere." Her study partner gave her a little smile. "I headed your politics tutor off at the pass and told them I'd already checked in here for you, you were probably in the snow fields again. Still want to lock me up?"
"Maybe. But I'll keep you for now."
"You're most gracious, princess."
