It's just the road-to-nowhere to run around after other people, when you don't even feature in the same neighbourhood, let alone the *room*, where their list of priorites is kept. (We're not even talking about being *on* the damn list here because we don't want go off into some absurd fantasy land....)
Yeah, yeah black women are capable of being Atlas and often carry entire movements but just because you *can* doesn't mean you should. I don't even see having limits and refusing to be used by all as sundry "selfish". It's just the basic self-preservation (and in-group cliqueness) that most other human beings exercise as a right: too many of us, by contrast, are conditioned to think that being anything less than a mule is 'mean' or selfish.
Ridiculous.
