Today was a pretty uneventful day. I slept in until 9am and spent a leisurely morning reading Anna Karenina while drinking my coffee. I am enjoying this book immensely. I think Konstantin Levin is my favorite character thus far. As I'm only 140 pages of approximately 800 I'm going to reserve judgement, but once I start reading it I can't

I have seen the movie but it was such a downer that I could never imagine reading the book. I got 3/4 of the way through Dr. Zivago and quit. I also tried reading the Brothers Karamazov and couldn't get into it. The novels written during that time are so difficult to read. Good luck with it. I think Isabella Birds adventures will go faster.
