Barty leaps from his chair, rushes to the door, fumbles with the lock for a second that lasts a minute, and flings the door open.

"Miss you too. Glad you're back."
He reaches up and touches her face; his breathing is quite loud.
"What happened? In The Dreaming?"

"I walked and walked...found a castle, with a lady and lord and a library...you would have loved the library, so many books...And I found him. The Green Knight, and I won. A contest, see, if I won he would help me. And I did. And then I came back the next day..." Her eyes flick away for a moment, and then back up at him.
"It's still...red and gold here, though I walked until it snowed."
