Mordred is very happy. He's in a sling, and there is Outside and Mama and Barty and Outside! Morgan's mood is subject to more discussion, but she seems happy enough as she leads Barty to the stables.

It's summer, and is actually starting to act like it. Good for the warm weather, but...

Well, Morgan's not thinking about leaving.

"It's been too long since I rode," says Barty.

He's holding Morgan's hand. He looks up at the cloudless sky and squints. He likes it when it's this warm.

"Mmmm, aye. It has. Ye'll have forgotten it all." She comments, giving a quick a grin.

He rolls his eyes. "Dunno about that. I seem to remember I did OK last time!"

He's not nervous about falling off. Not a bit!

For an answer, he gets a kiss. Not quick, but not deep, either - a little hard, with a flaily, babbling baby in the way.

Of course, as answers goes, it's not that reassuring.

"Ye fall, the mud'll soften it." Morgan informs him, cheerfully.
