Well, I can officially say that I'm no longer working on any of the assigned work for over break, so if anyone needs help finishing theirs... just let me know. I don't have much to do while I'm staying here

Apparently so. I guess I could always just ignore their letters until the holiday break is over.

It does; I think I'll end up doing that but give them some sort of warning. Maybe a 'hey I'm busy working. Merry Christmas and leave me alone' will suffice.

I don't really want to say anything because I don't know your situation, but they're probably just worried about you. My mother...is the same way, especially now that I've decided that I'm not coming home either.

The Gryffindor room is pretty warm, but then again, I always sit next to the fireplace.

They think I'm over-working myself... so I guess they are worried, but then again, they think I don't want to be with them for the holidays because I've apparently 'replaced' them.

The Hufflepuff room is usually warm, too; I don't know what's made it so different.

...parents are quite weird like that! Just tell them that you haven't replaced them, and that should placate them for a while...maybe until you can visit again?

I don't know either, but I find it a little chilly here too. Is it just today? Someone might have left a window open?
