Dad is recovering well. They removed the bandage off his chest, and the incision site looks good. Healing nicely. They also removed the chest tubes today too. YAY! :) He is doing really well and being very cooperative. I look forward to him coming home. I unfortunately seem to be coming down with something so I am downing Airborn tablets. (supposed to fend off colds and flu) and I'll be picking up some ZICAM today too. I do not want to get sick right before dad comes home.
Ren Faire is starting up again, and this year I am not sure we'll be able to make it. We want to try... but it depends on what's happening with dad and his recovery.
We have managed to pay off MOST of the bills that the WT Skip out's left us with. We aren't left with much, but at least I won't end up going to collections over it. I still am stumped as to what exactly they were thinking, but I've given up trying to understand it. It seemed very easy for "her" to write us off like that, which is sad, because it makes her a user and a mooch, but realisticly what can you do. If a person is bred like that, taught to behave that way, they won't ever change if they don't see anything wrong with it. I am seriously hoping for a long overdue reality check there.
Our neighbors are putting up a new fence to replace the one the winds from hades brought down. Looks good. We have to start working on the back deck, and getting it set up so we can have our 2nd official party. (PLEASE NO ONE GO TO THE HOSPITAL AFTER!! aka Dad + superbowl = angina attack into ER = quadruple bypass) We'd like to have a BBQ and invite all our wild and crazy friends. It will be fun, but we have to get the back yard in order. I wish we could get a hot tub too... LOL. We also have to build like MAJOR storage for our stuff that won't fit into the house. That's what we get for moving into smaller digs. Again, I am just glad to be out and away from the armpit that is San Bernardino.
Oh and some freak is bugging me on MySpace... go fig, people think they are so "smart" ha, dumb ass. We shall see, we shall see.
Other than that... nothing else to report. Blessings to all!
