Why do people miss the point?

I think I am going to puke now. People should never die on major holidays, but it cannot be helped.

Let me tell you about love...

Love is when people are connected, through trust, and a bind that no one can break but themselves. Love is when my aunt who was not told of the severity of my uncle's condition until just two weeks ago held resentment towards her sister until she was told that it was kept from her to give him hope, because he'd see the despair on her face and know, because they were connected and he'd know right away there was nothing that could be done for his 3 brain tumors.

Love is when a partner dies, the only thing you want is to cling to them and to the hope that they are really not gone because you can still feel the warmth from the blood through their veins on their body. And then to let out a heart wrenching grieving cry when you realize they are really gone.

Love is when you can stop being petty, and stop clinging to false ideals of life and they way people should be in "your eyes" and you can open your heart to your own mistakes without pointing out those of others and you can bond together in times of need and be forever changed.

Love is so many things, good, difficult, sad, painful, lovely, amazing and awful all at once. Love may last a life time, or a moment, it may be real or imagined... but it hits us to our center core being and it changes us. I just wish some people wouldn't become MORE stupid in love, and forget all rationale.

It's been a long, stressful, hard and troubling week.
