Alyssa, you horridly underestimate the power of years of abuse from your peers. You really do. They snapped, and took out years of pent up rage on the school. They didn't kill her because they gave the wrong answer. They were planning on killing just about everyone they could. They placed homemade propane bombs in the cafeteria. You think they cared who they killed?

Everyone gets made fun of some point in their life. I was TORTURED in middle school to the point where I wanted to be home schooled. I do have an idea.

The people that do that kind of thing are sick. Yes, being bullied FUCKING SUCKS. But when you leave high school you never see those people who bullied you. You cant go on a killing spree, that's not how you handle things. If they want to end their life becuase they are bullied!? Fine. Great. Take yourself out of this world and leave the innocent lives still in it.

BTW - I dont know about the other shootings that kid was talking about but I DEF know about columbine that those two boys were bullied. But not enough to do what they did. They had friends. And before columbine they were showing that they were just violent people. They got in trouble with the law a lot. They did what they did becuase they were fucked up, and they wanted to be famous.

No normal, sane person does those things. You have to have a mental illness.

Yes, there probably were underlying "mental issues". THat doens't change the fact that the being bullied all the time by your peers doesn't make you go a little crazier. Alyssa, you knew me in middle schol. Ask you brother, or anyone else who knew me then. I know where they are coming from with this. I've thought about doing something like they did. A few people at school still think to this day I'm going to snap. You know why? All it takes is one naturally moody/angry person, and years of abuse froms ones peers to create the next Columbine. Am I saying what they did was right? No. It was wrong. But, they didn't just come out of nowhere and start killing people. THey were provoked.

I agree that these kids were pushed around in school. But EVERYONE is pushed around in school. That dosent mean shoot the place up. That was my point. That just becuase they were bullied, it doesnt make it right for them to kill anyone.

All the kids that have done this (and I know you already know this..lol...but I am saying it anyway) have not just killed the people that bullied them. They killed random people. Just saw someone and shot them. It would, even though its wrong regardless, be MORE understandable if they killed the people who bullied them. But they just kill everyone.

But I do understand the point you are making.
