Sympathy on the "Dad" situation. Watched my folks go through an similar experience with my paternal grandmother, so I'll definitely keep the positive thoughts flowing in your direction.

Dad seems to be settling down, or maybe he has just moved to the next level. Now it just seems to be a question of keeping him comfortable. Even family gatherings - like my son's engagement party - are really out of the question. Could be worse.
Apart from all that - life IS beautiful, I am very lucky. Australia Day here and there are a few token flags, but mostly people just enjoy the day. Cricket is going well - sold out - hoping to beat the Indians. It would be nice to think we could pop along and see the little master before he retires. (Sachin Tendulkar - second only to the Don amongst batting legends.)
