{{blueprints}} Application :: Personality

As an eldest, Violet is something of a rock for her siblings and learned to be the mediator to adults in her life, as her brother's temper and her sister's baby talk make her the one best able to communicate. She might not be the most social child either, and avoid rambunctious or obnoxious kids, but she relates fairly well to peers that match her calm or interests. Polite to a fault, it would take a fair deal of effort to get a rude comment out of this girl. This does not cover tact, though, as she will not hesitate to call out a lie or a ploy straight to the perpetrator's face. On the contrary hand, she might hold back something she's discovered or seen when it would be best to say something on the idea no one would believe her, leading to trouble that could have been avoided.

Violet has a fair moral compass built in, but she is not above bending the rules or even committing a crime if she sees it as helping the greater good or someone she loves. The reassuring fact is she judges herself harshly for any instance, to the point of sulking. This is one aspect to how even though she can keep her cool as long as she sees a possibility of getting out of a situation by invention (or spell), she becomes very emotional when she's run out of options, or worried for someone closed to her. Then it usually takes a fair deal of comfort or a point out of some option out she missed to cheer her back up.

The most noticeable traits in Violet's behavior, aside from the good manners and maturity at such an age, is how she sometimes ties her hair back in a ribbon, or stares about her mumbling to herself. The people that don't know her might put that down as strange, but those that do will say she is simply considering her newest invention, and it's best to give her some space and some sketchpaper.
