I'm incredibly thankful for the peace and quiet I'm enjoying in this empty apartment.

I find it amazing how quickly my world can be flipped upside-down.
I feel like I'm living in the twilight zone.
Is it so strange to be happy?

I'm bored with everything.

I'm looking forward to not looking back.

I'm making the worst decisions.
I'm having a wonderful time doing so.

I've got mystery back.
I'm leaving things unspoken.

Back to New York tomorrow.
and with it, my sanity.

I dont know if it was excessive amounts of caffeine, the promise of fall in the air, or that ridiculously perfect shooting star, but tonight I literally felt the world shift. In a good way.

I love this place more than ever, when its quiet, and the sky is getting light, and i've got sweet cinnamon tea and endless cigarettes.
