I love how you put it. The idea of Rachel needing NYADA to become a big star while Kurt doesn't because he's proven time and again that nothing can stop him is entirely accurate in my mind right now.

Thank you! I don't know any other way to rationalize it really, other than the world likes to crap on Kurt Hummel and will do so no matter what he does. And I refuse to accept that explanation. Haha. :)

I've read a couple of stories that also say that Rachel NEEDS NYADA and Kurt doesn't. While I'm still kind of pissed that Kurt didn't get in, that kind of makes sense. Rachel totally LOST it after she chocked on her audition. She just...didn't deal with the "rejection" of it; at all. Kurt has dealt with rejection and disappointment all of his life and as overcome it all. I think that no matter what path Kurt takes towards his dream, he will make it.

No matter how we all try to rationalize it, we're still all gonna be pissed that Kurt didn't get into NYADA because it's just really unfair and makes the entire storyline (which has been going on ALL SEASON) seem contrived. *insert rachel ''maybe someday you'll learn to teach me life lessons without ruining my life'"gif* But anger at RIB aside, yes, Kurt is a much stronger person at that type of thing than Rachel, and even though it's unfair that just because he can handle it the writers throw it at him, if they were going to do it to anyone, it's the least detrimental to Kurt than any of the others. Kurt Hummel can't be kept from his dreams!
