[Those really were some excellent directions, and one of the big benefits of a maze is that there's always a wall for Toph to follow. It's not long before she finds what she's searching for.

Her toe nudges one of the escaped plastic balls. It starts to roll but, tipped off by the sound, she scoops it up. She rolls it between her hands.]

You found balls?

[... Sokka has to be here somewhere, right?]

[Sokka has done something practical.

Sokka is wearing socks.

For the express purpose of sneaking up very, very quietly behind her. He sliiiiiiides into position without disturbing any of the balls around their feet and, very casually, shoves Toph into the ball pit.

It's a shame you can't see that grin, Toph.]

I don't know if you're really familiar with it, Zuko, but it's this little thing we have.

[There's a sound as the balls shift around him as he sinks deeper into the room.]

Isn't that great for you, Jim? He adopts a nasally voice with an upper-crust tone.]

[When Jim reaches the room, it is entirely devoid of a Sokka. It is filled with hundreds of the plastic play-pen balls, but no Sokka, anywhere.

He waits in the shadows for his prey....]

[Okay, that? Looks like ridiculous amounts of fun.

And, well, she's only a couple of decks away, so not too long after the post shows up on the network, Jael peeks into the room.]

[There is a tuft of hair sticking out of the balls nearby. It vanishes underneath, and more of them escape out into the hallway around Jael's feet.]

[Jael smiles slightly and wades into the room.

Normally she probably would've just dove in, but she doesn't want to risk hitting her cast on anything. Or landing on Sokka.]

[SUDDENLY there is a flourish of movement as Sokka makes to spring out of the ball pit and scare the woman-- he thought it was Katara-- and stops mid-jump, barely shifting the balls. He peers out of the top of the pile, his head only visible.]

Oh! Sorry. Thought you were someone else.

[noturmother]

[Stare. Staaaaare. What on.. Earth?]

Sokka.. What are those?

[Of course she says this into the comm when she's already on her way. She knows how to goof off once in a while, thank you. Aang taught her well. And besides, if Sokka thinks it's a good idea...

Well actually, that's not a very good example.]

Pure, unadulterated fun. That's what they are. It's like playing in the snow, except the snow is GIANT!
