[Sokka is sitting smack in the center of the road to Ardel, having a staring contest with one of the statues.

So far, it looks like he might actually be winning, as unflinching as that stare is.]

[Kevas silently approaches from behind. He looks at the kid, then to the statue, and then back to the kid. He hasn't the slightest clue what this kid is trying to do but Kevas has some time to kill to figure it out, or at least mess with him.]

[Sokka startles with an undignified squawk and much arm-flailing. He whips around to glare at Kevas.]

[So Harley has been keeping pretty quiet since the Warrior helped her release her bunny Frank back into the wilderness. She really wasn't as heartbroken over it as she'd have Warrior believe, but it had changed the situation immediately from Harley risking her neck into 'she's defenseless and scared' and at the time, that had been more important. BESIDES, she still had Mighty Mouse safely tucked away in her pod, under the watchful gaze of Groucho the capybara. What could possibly go wrong?

No, she's noticed thee statues popping up all over the place, but others seem more concerned about it than she does. The locals don't seem particularly worried about them, and that's really what should matter, right? However, the reactions of the Called are something to be rather amused by.

She is just taking a stroll in her finest (just the shirt is a bit shorter than that, see), when she happens to catch a glance of Sokka staring at the statue before him, unblinking as the stone. She stops just to the side of him and looks up at the statue, head ( ... )

[Lily is a weird-ass person, but even she doesn't stare at statues (not for long, anyway). So color her surprised when she's on the road to Ardel and she sees Sokka, staring at a statue more intensely than anyone should. Wow. People on the outside are weird.]

[Kobato was admiring the statues lining the road-they weren't there the last time she visited Ardel-when she sees Sokka. She looks at the boy and then at the statue. Back to the boy then to the statue once again. Boy. Statue. If it were physically possible little question marks would be floating above her head.

A staring contest maybe? But...it's a statue. There's no way he's going to win. Should she tell him? Would that be mean? He looks like he's trying his very hardest. What should she do?]

Um...
