being a working chick sucks.

there are a million other things i would like to be doing now, but i cant.

working out. sleeping in. touring. living in california with sam. starting my own business. having children!!

my problem isn't that i want to sleep in, etc, and have more free time, its that i dont have free time to do such a massive career change. I need free time to write to make money but i cant do it without money to begin with or else i couldnt afford my free time. get it?

yeah, like how i want to start my own business, but i cant just stop what im doing and start it because i need the money to start it, but the only way i can get that money is if i work.

exactly. i hate that writers say they dedicate 5 hours a day to what they do.... somewhere along the line, they HAD to have been broke before they made any money... I just can't do that. Not without my house falling to shambles, my marriage failing due to stress (and lack of money to support us both), and of course my bills not being paid...

brett recently got a promotion and will be making BIG bucks soon but even after that, I dont think it will be enough for me to quit my job on the off chance I might have enough talent to make it. (which im thinking i may not have it)...

but by then, we'll also want kids... and who has time to write for 5 hours a day when they have a baby?! haha

Time, my dear, is the one thing in which no woman (or man) is richer than the next. No matter who you are, what you do for a living, etc...you have just as much time in a day as everyone else you pass on the street
