Sam's a fellow necromancer and his power's been described as a 'big, icy river' though that was when he was a baby and before he was bound. His power's just recently been released and added to (in Sam's world, necromancers gain the powers of those they kill and Sam killed a powerful necromancer) so she's probably gonna be able to sense all that death in there.

He'll probably read her differently as well, seeing more blue in her soul than the reds and oranges of a regular human.

There should totally be a 'we raise the dead' club! ... Except that Kate freaking hates her evil daddy-inherited powers and will probably be suspicious of anyone who shares them. So she wouldn't want to join.

But, whatever. There should still be one.

Oh, I do love these! As far as my characters go:

♥ Shunsui is dead, dead, dead. He's a Soul in a temporary body, and an extremely powerful one (really!), since he's also a Shinigami who is in charge of taking care of other Souls. That's the easiest way to explain it. I imagine people with a sensitivity toward that sort of thing might be able to tell, and I imagine he can definitely be able to tell that other people are doing dead stuff, too. He's not the type to mention it, though he does sometimes like to make little comments to suggest an awareness because he thinks he's clever

Haha, okay yeah Kate will be very unnerved by so many dead people just wandering around. Especially dead people who recognise her little talent.

Shunsui is more than welcome to make smug comments if he runs into her. Internally, there may be an initial freak out, but she'll get over it. Eventually.

Hmmm, let's see.

-Sam has demon blood in him, which gives him powers, but I'm not sure if she'd notice that? She's certainly welcome to notice it though, if you'd like. I imagine it'd look black and red. :)

-Billy Kaplan is a full on witch/warlock/whatever you'd like to call him, with a lot of power. He uses it all for good though! Really!
