We are not amused

A little over a week ago, I went to Cai Guo-Qiang's exhibition at the Guggenheim. I was told beforehand that the car installation, which cascades down from the museum's ceiling to its lobby, was the "least impressive" of all the works on display. I should probably stop talking to people who go around describing anything Cai has done in terms of unimpressiveness, because, well, clearly they are unappreciative wastes of oxygen (that COULD be used to make more things like this). IMHO.
The photograph does not really fully demonstrate the elemental floaty-explodey brilliance of what is currently under the roof at 1071 Fifth Avenue, but then photography isn't allowed in the first place. I found that out only when I was asked to put the camera away, oops.

I just got back from a very short but much needed vacation in London last night, only to discover I needn't have left New York to see the newly-christened Borisland Live in action.
Apparently you have to pay a pound to see America, because we are so dope.

My boss offered to help me get a job at American Apparel to supplement the rapidly depleting money in my checking account. I would look completely ridiculous and out of place working there, so I'm considering it. Look for me nearly naked on the back of your city's free daily soon!
