I can tell it's winter and people are doing more reading. Or something. I woke up to kudos on five stories yesterday morning! Two Hawaii Five-0, two popslash - JuC - and one - the only one I ever wrote, for topaz119, Sam/Gabriel. That's quite a variety. I'd love to watch dancing, but it says the 'video is private'

Nic's mom sounds ... interesting. I get not wanting to leave your pets alone, but that really doesn't seem the right solution.

She wouldn't be leaving the dogs alone, Nic's dad would be there. He doesn't like to leave home, so he's not coming.

Two Blackhawks games! It's really cold there this weekend, so I imagine we'll see a lot of the hotel bar. :)

We had so much fun, but then it snowed in Chicago and my flight home was cancelled and the flight I finally got on left two hours late and my suitcase was on an even later flight, so they deposited it at my front door in the middle of the night.

But otherwise...:)

They are so very strange...they seem to be very cold, sometimes.

It was a good trip, complete with the usual cancelled flight on the way home, but I did eventually make it.

I have no idea why it's so hard to get from Columbus to Chicago and/or back. It started snowing around noon. Steph, Erica and I all had 3:30 flights. They left pretty much on time, I was cancelled. There was a plane at the gate. According to the board, we were ONE MINUTE from boarding. I asked the gate agent why the flight was cancelled, he shrugged, jerked his thumb over his shoulder at the window without looking up and said, "It's snowing."

So they rebooked me on the 6:45 flight, which left at 8:30, because by that time O'Hare was really backed up. My luggage was put on the 8 o'clock flight, which hadn't left Chicago by the time I arrived in Columbus at 10:30, so they delivered it to my house in the middle of the night.

IT'S A 56 MINUTE FLIGHT. HOW IS IT SO HARD?

Anyway, yes. :)
