Meh, it is what it is. The most troublesome bit is that I left my job of old for this one only to last 5/6 months. I should have stayed put. ;) But working on the job hunt! Not so much right now because of the time I will be out of town in December but beginning of the year... it's on!

2003's Peter Pan is one of the most under-appreciated movies of all. Glad you're a fan!

Wow, another Harry Potter fandom oldie! I got into the HP fandom via the AOL boards in 2000 myself, a bit over thrteen years ago - I joined because I was mad that I'd gotten the GoF release date wrong (I thought it was June 8), and needed people to gab about the books to. The forums did not disappoint, wanky as they could be.

Also love Buffy, though that was one I got into late in the game - years after it ended. When it was on I assumed because of the name that it was 90210 with vampires, and as I've said on my own LJ, teen magazines that described only the shallow aspects (what a surprise!) didn't help. They were seriously like "OmG WILLOW IS A LESBIAN WITCH HOW EDGY." Most of what I knew about Buffy was from the HP fandom. I finally told a friend I'd watch the show if she watched Firefly, and I now seriously love it.

I love all of your furkids! :D (I hope that term is okay and not a pet peeve or something.)

Funnily enough, Goblet of Fire was the first book of the series I read! I didn't even know there was a 1, 2 or 3 (but once I did... things started to make a lot more sense.) My grandmother bought the book for me and I read it there in one sitting.

Hah, I remember being judged for loving Buffy so much because of the assumptions people did make of the show. I could never convince them that some of it was really deep stuff!

Thank you! That term in fine. ;)
