Gwen's never been what you'd call a book person, exactly. But she's been wandering around near the UChicago campus, and this is a place she hasn't been yet-- and one that doesn't reek of zombie, to boot. She pushes open the door.
As Gwen's eyes scan the rows of dim shelves, her nose picks up not just the musty scent of books and old wood, but also the too-familiar stench of rotten flesh and that slight tinge of blood at the edges that means vampire, and she's thinking she ought to get out of here but then she sees--
What the hell is that guy doing?
