For some reason, I get overwhelmed by life sometimes and forget to do the things hat I truly enjoy. Writing here, for example, is always worth my time and yet I've felt pressed for minutes and hours lately and unwilling to spend them in front of my computer. It's sad that after that, when I read about your new car my first thought was, "Black? Hey, like Hotblack's ship..." *is so not obsessed*

Apparently there is a kung fu club in our city, that holds open-to-the-public tournaments. I begin to think I should check that out sometime.

It's not quite that black, but maybe I should do something about that...

Watching tournaments would be well worth your time I think. It's always good to see new diciplines and, really, your art is always going to be a combination of all of your experiences anyway. The broader the better I think.

Might be worth seeing if there's something going for Lunar new year/Tet/Chinese new year/whatever (29 January, but it usually goes for a couple weeks). There's a couple of demonstrations going on around here the next couple of weeks and I plan on catching at least one. It's supposed to be one of the internal arts and I'm hoping for Bagua, since it's the one major branch I'm not currently learning. If I can take pictures, you know I'll post a few...

Well I'm relieved you got out of the accident nightmare in one piece *hugs* and a lovely black car as a result isn't at all bad! Well done, you!

I wish I could see you in Kung Fu action :D If you ever get on video/dvd, please send one along! It's a lightening in the step (no, not loafers....silly!) when you're wanted somewhere rather than needed - though needed isn't bad, wanted has a different flavor, a different oh je ne sais quois ;)
That's just brilliant - and as I've said, it's beautiful to see you so happy!

You did see the pictures from a few months back, yes? There will be more, but it's hardly the same as seeing it in motion I know.

I'm due for my 1st degree black sometime in 2008, so plan on coming up, k?

Oh YES count me in! I did see the pics, am still recovering from tonsillitis (and being offline due to the darn light sensitivity that hits always when I'm ill LOL) but will be going back further still to see more pics :D LOVE it! Got the pics of you and Andy as well - you two look SO happy, I just am all grinny for you both!
