Things had been rather quiet around Spock's room (almost too quiet, after the incident with Uhura), but inside, Spock was not doing near as well as he should be at this stage. When he sedated himself, he simply slept for an hour or two and then the adrenaline overrode it, nulling the effects. The mood stabilizer did not do much, either, though

Maybe he should give up. Tell Leonard he was right. But the thought of him made him even more stubborn, determined to fight this. He sat up again, crossing his legs and trying desperately to find focus.
