"This is a more efficient way to travel to the planet's surface," Spock responded easily, stepping onto the platform as well. He crossed his hands behind his back, nodding at the ensign. "Energize."

Despite himself, he took a moment as soon as they materialized to smell the air. It was nice to get a bit of fresh, unsterilized air once in a while.
