It had driven Spock to near madness to be forced to wonder about Jack's identity and his significance. By the time it came time for Jim to arrive, he was nearly twitching with anticipation. He had used his excess energy to distract himself, having made them both tea and washed and cut fruit he had been storing for the both of them

"If you consider it necessary, I will change into my sleep outfit." Though he was not certain why that was at all necessary. He perched on his chair, looking at Jim curiously. He held out his hand for the PADD with a, "May I?"

He got a bit of a Look in return, but Spock acquiesced, moving to find his sleep clothes. He went into the bathroom to change, a bit of his inherent privateness (not to mention shyness) returning.
