As usual, your music works best in its own context, so that hearing these two tracks together with the first two answers my initial questions handily.
You mentioned before that one reason for doing the (mostly) covers album was to develop your singing, and it definitely seems that you are taking more risks with your vocals on King Zeppelin.
Is there an actual storyline to this one, or is it more broadly thematic?
It does, technically have a storyline, but it's my characteristic broad-brushstrokes kind of a thing - there's a character progression there, and possibly even some events in order, but it's more music designed to generate a particular kind of story than a musical story in itself. That's the next one (which would have been this one, which is a musical. There may be a couple of songs which just don't fit at all, and therefore I'll probably have to have an Apocrypha section on the tracklisting. Which is, I'll admit, no great shame. I'm definitely taking more risks with vocals, and going for both more technically demanding traditional singing and more unnerving "de-tuned" sounds. Certainly, the 1st verse of Dreamers, for example, line-ends on extended "ll" and "ng" sounds for the most part, which (deliberately, and in homage to John Lydon) segue in and out of tune. I think that this is a good idea. This is why I have no record deal. ;)

Loving it, and waiting patiently for the rest.
