Captain America redesign for Project Rooftop

Entering the current PR competition. Had to be bloody Captain bloody America. I've done my best with a sort of gamut of USian influences, so the little headwings are based off Oldsmobile chromework rather than heraldry, Steve gets a modern, sportsy makeover and a better hat (seriously, HOLES FOR EARS plus LITTLE FOREHEAD WINGS?! The Flash has the right idea), and Isiah's outfit gets tweaked to be more pulpy and paratrooper-y, though I'd like another go due to the sudden realisation that Movie Cap has those straps. They are essential for keeping the chainmail from sliding off, though. And of course Captain Bucky America is a creepy Cold War relic with a dark past. Therefore - GOGGLES AND MILITARY TROUSERS. Don't expect I'll get featured or anything, but it's a start. At least I entered this time - I missed the sodding deadline for Black Canary through just not emailing off the completed image. Will post that one later, as I like it slightly better than these. Hopefully next competition will be someone I care slightly more about. In an unrelated note, fucking lj defaulting to fucking plain text mode without telling me was fun. Took far too long to realise what'd happened.
