Strange reminders . . . .

I was driving home from work about two days ago, and while I was waiting at a red light I saw a homeless guy wearing an old Brooklyn Dodgers jersey, and between the pocket full of change I had and the fact that he made me think of home, I motioned him over to the car ( Read more... )

More and more - I really can't hide from it too much longer. I had a bat fly in my face a few days ago that appeared virtually out of nowhere, and I asked my mom about it. She has those cheesy Medicine Cards, and apparently Bat is synonomous with "rebirth", which made me remember my motto and everything I'm missing out on.

How are things? I haven't talked to you since New Year's . . . and the big day's coming up. Nervous?

Wow, man. That was an amazing incident. Things like this tend to be the nudge we need to look a little deeper at life around us and within us.

I tried Crowley. I did. I really did. I lost a book of his that I had borrowed. I don't lose books. So I bought another one. I lost it. 4 times in all I lost a book by Crowley. That accounts for the majority of the books I've ever lost in my whole life. For some reason, he is forbidden to me.
On the up side, he said not to re-read his books. So I'm all set!
