What about Big Brothers Big Sisters? It's a kid you can teach things to that you get to give back after a few hours. And it really helps them out because they don't come from the best situations. I think you'd be great at it.

I think about this too...but you know, I would just do it so i caould teach it all kinds of things really well, but wrong. Like the colours and the names of animals, so he/she would be asolutely confident that they knew what a Elephant Mouse was(when they were pointing to a rabbit), or what Chartreuse was (when they pointed at Fluorescent Pink)
The first year of kindergarten would be rough, i guess....

...man, I was so worried that it would come off as me wanting to do serious harm to a kid and reinforce all those fucking ideas that folks seem to have that my stupid hair and the beer in my hand precludes me from kid-liking(and what a shit-show it is when you tell people you like kids, they give you that far-off look like "you've been playing at your own stuff, but now you're seeing what's really important...." or something.)
I just really wind up thinking "There's some really good stuff about me that isn't so easily shoe-horned into bar/hipster/art/keep-them-all-hanging-on-my-words life that being around some kids would really do some awesome shit with"(ill-put, but I'm dodging the bullets of Wil-is-nearing-30-and-thinking-of-kids and the I'm gonna-show-the-world-by-having-a-kid-but-not-like-the-other-people).
And besides, all kinds of folks have have been all kinds of good for all kinds kids since like the beginning of time...fuck being qualified.
