Last week was a weird week

And like, I don't know how else to describe it. Maybe it was the weather finally cooling down, but I honestly can't remember most of the week.  I know I got things accomplished and that I didn't exercise again last week (def not beating myself up over that because next month I will have more free time) but I still feel like lost about last week lol

Basically like an air unit that runs off of water to cool the air that comes into the house. So like a big fan and it blows down into our main hallway. All of the rooms and the kitchen have a vent that the air is tunneled through but the dining room, living room, and bathrooms don’t have vents. So when it’s hot outside, the water is hot and therefore cannot cool the air that comes into the house.

Yeah, I looked up California laws and because we are in a single family home, it looks like the laws are different. But I’ve been there since 2016 and this is the first time rent has been raised so I mean, I was expecting it. It’s just a wait and see what they do at this point. It’s just if it’s get raised to much, I might as well move to a nicer house for a similar price.

My central a/c broke a few months back, so I've only been using window units also (luckily I never wanted to / could afford to take those out when my dad put in the central a/c a decade ago). But I don't run them if I'm not home, so I come home to quite a hot house, around 86 or 87 the thermostat usually reads, depending on how long I was gone. I also don't run it while I sleep, so I wake up to around 84 lately. Which I only like keeping it between 78 and 80 anyway or I get cold lol, so it's not that big of a deal. But yeah I feel ya on the hot house situation!

I wish the weather would cool down here too. It’s been so hot lately.

I think it's crappy that your rent can be raised so often. It's hard enough to pay rent sometimes.

dude, I read the California renters rights just the other day and if you live in a "single family dwelling" they can do that, its really weird. I'm in the process of trying to pay off debt and improve my credit score and see if I can try to buy a house by the end of 2022, but there are a ton of factors that will have to fall in place in order for that to happen.
