So, the Paola Roots Festival (www.rootsfestival.org) was this weekend, Friday and Saturday. It’s a neat event, really: Essentially a carnival, with food vendors, crafts and other items for sale, games and other little stuff for kids, all contained on Paola’s Park Square and its surrounding streets
