[True Beginning]

Author's note: Previous beginning will be reworked to fit around this. This is the true beginning.

The game Lacryma is one in which I play with the lives of humans. I have been granted the role of God, yet I take a back seat and watch them fumble on their way.

Perhaps God is too lofty of a title when I have merely given it to myself. But I am in control of their fates, and thus I am a god.

I am not benevolent: I am just.

I am not omnipotent: I am powerful.

I am the Man in the Macintosh.

A weak and foolish god made flesh; I watch you and you cannot see me. I oversee Lacryma-I have no control.

I watch your every mood and decide if you should live or die.

Only my followers will be raised from the pits of despair and delivered from Eminence. They do not know that I exist: their sole benefactor who will not lift a finger to help them.

So it is up to you to decide. Am I death, or am I a voyeur?

Or am I just a red herring?
