Kin felt it, like a deep shiver down her spine.

She'd been keeping her ear to the ground, but she hadn't needed to do so, apparently. He was openly displaying himself for all to take notice of, and of course Anko was going to go right for it...

Shit.

And Zaku, being an idiot, would go after that promise of sin like a dog. She quickly told her boss that a family emergency had popped up--

("Whaddya mean, family emergency? Don't gimme that bullshit!"

"MY FUCKING FATHER JUST GOT HIT BY A CAR, YOU DICK!!")

--and left the video store, her feet making loud, angry sounds against the cement as she follow the trail, closer, closer. She spotted Zaku lounging about like some ridiculous bird creature. God, he looked like a fucking dark avenger, perched up on a roof like that. She glared up at him and let out a yell none of the humans heard.

"MOTHERFUCKER. COME DOWN."

Zaku turned his head when he heard the mental scream from Kin. He furrowed his eyebrows at her but soon enough a feral grin lifted his lips and he shook his head.

“Why? Don’t you see what is going to fucking happen?” He gestured mildly towards the way that Orochimaru had gone. His movements were slightly off balance as he stared back at Kin.

Dominion. That was the very essence of his being. To manage the levels of sin and dark and with it came the effects of the sin on his very own body.

He was not going to miss this.

"COME. FUCKING. DOWN. I'M NOT GONNA FUCKING LOSE MY VOICE FOR YOU."

It looked like he was going to fall down anyway, but she wanted to know that he was paying attention. She glanced briefly in the direction that he was pointing, and, well, of course she felt like that sharp attraction, but she knew better.

Orochimaru. He was bad, but he was so good.

But Anko hated him, and she'd kill Kin if...

But Anko wasn't her boss, and she could do what she very well pleased...

But Zaku was an idiot, and if he was going along with this then it couldn't be that great of an idea.

But...

She had to go along, even out of mere curiosity and possibly to kick Zaku's ass into gear.

He knew it was coming sometime in the night, but he was not sure when.

So he was a little jumpy when it occured. His dark eyes widened slightly and his head jerked suddenly toward the direction of surge of dark energy. There was certainly doubt in his mind who it was.

Underneath his mask, he smiled. So the fun begins.

One moment Rin was watching the beautiful fireworks as they faded away. But the next moment, her body slumped onto the ground. It was almost as if the gravity had changed dramatically. Her body felt heavy and her skin felt as if something was digging painfully in her skin.

She had a feeling before. A really bad feeling. She really did and a part of her regretted not listening to her instincts earlier.

Rin could barely concentrat on her thought, her mind only on the sudden negative energy, on the pain. She closed her eyes tightly and she bit her lips to hold back her scream, even to the point that it began to bleed. But it wasn't too long until her voice tore through the air.

What the hell was going on?

Even in his newly-frenzied state, Orochimaru was able to comprehend what was going on around him. He noted that more than a few of the humans slumped to the ground at the mere revealing of his power, while others were already beginning to flee the square, either at a full run or in an attempt at calmly walking out. However, the vast majority of the crowd remained, some shaking in their boots as they watched the unsheathing of his sword while the rest looking upwards expectantly, waiting for him, yelling and hollering at him to get on with what they supposed was some sort of act. Some screamed and had to hold back their terror while the rest hooted and hollered at him.

So they wanted a show.

They wanted a fucking show.He'd be sure to give them one. Naturally, he wasn't in one of his most charitable moods, so this annoyance at a display of such sheer stupidity was only multiplied, and would be vented on whoever he decided at random.
