Hawai'i photos!!
Here is a handful of what I witnessed during my visit. I'll post more as I receive them.
My apologies for the poor quality. My camera is less than adequate.
DISCLAIMER: It is obviously apparent in my photos that I am the hugest plant nerd ever. I am open to insults. :P

I think my friend Ryan, the raw foodist, would also like to try it. He likes durian, so he might enjoy other garlic/onion flavoured fruits.

1) ginger?! sweet. was it the infamous "shampoo ginger" i read about in your hawaii plant books?
2) SWEET DOLPHINS!!!!!!!!! i looove dolphins. i know everyone does but they are so smart. and awesome. plus they OBVIOUSLY have sex for fun too, and they play with stuff. i'm convinced with some effort we could learn their dolphin language.
3) during reading week we should make a volcano project. like just work really hard on a project complete with volcano model. for no reason okay?
4) noni could be a hoax. i mean its probably good for you, but you know how i feel about cure-alls. they supposedly eat that in india but my mom has no clue what it is!!!! soon i will google cool/wierd fruit from india.
anyway, my parents like gross stuff like jackfruit so they'd probably like it :P

I have never tried jackfruit, but I did try durian. Now durian is something I may grow to like.
The ginger IS the shampoo-ginger, and sushi ginger. I hate the stuff, wasabi too. Nasty, nasty.
Those dolphins were nuts! And super-awesome. I didn't see them having sex for fun however. Dolphin language= yesyes! lets do it! Volcanoes too.
