Okay, here's the deal. wearemany said a while back that if (WHEN!) Lance came out, we should send him flowers to congratulate him. I've seen a lot of people express interest in doing that, so here we go:

2. I am overseas, but I have Paypal, and would that work?
3. Just wondering, how would we know when he receives them? (I know this sounds like a very presumptuous and suspicious question, but I really am wondering and don't mean it that way!)

I suspect Paypal won't work directly to the florist. If you want to Paypal me and I can place an order for you, that's fine (but, again, if you're not comfortable with that, I totally understand).

As for knowing when he receives them, I can't make any promises there. I am fairly certain the person who's delivering them will let me know--and I'd bet Lance will make some comment on his Myspace about it--but to be honest, I'm trusting the friend to follow through and going on faith. I wish I could give you something more solid than that, but I want to be totally up front about this.

*nods* I understand. :) I don't mind paypal-ing money to you. I just need to decide if I'm sharing with someone else or not, and if they take overseas cards (Yes, I just realised I own a credit card). In any case, this sounds really exciting!

Honestly, I can't believe we're finally getting to do this. I really hope a lot of people choose to participate, so he'll be overwhelmed by the love and support. But we'll just have to wait and see. And of course (I know I've said this a dozen times, but I don't want this to turn into wank) I understand if people think this is a silly idea, waste of money, whatever. It certainly isn't as important as supporting charities, etc. But for those of us who can afford to make a gesture, I think it's a nice one to make.

Let me know what you decide to do. And if you just need a U.S. phone number (not toll-free) to call to place an order, I'm sure I can get you that.
