One of Jon’s favorite things about being in the band had been that he didn’t have to like everything about them all the time. He could get pissed at Ryan for being whiny, and Spencer for being a controlling bitch, and Brendon for being a general pain in the ass. He didn’t have to like them, but he did love them, more than pretty much anyone.

i really liked how you worked to give both jon and brendon depth. and how you gave us bits of the past as we went.

i got a little confused with a couple of the flashbacks (not sure of where we were on the timeline) and really felt that it ended suddenly. i wanted a whole other part to finish off and match the pace of the development.

their chemistry was delicious, though. and i enjoyed that very much.
