Well thank you for asking them. Sorry it took me a while to get to it but it has made the perfect time killer on the train journey home!

Is the nature of his messages flirtatious? Like, if he were someone talking to you in-person, would you be comfortable with hearing him say those things aloud? If you are comfortable, then I don't think that's too soon at all. A few weeks is more than enough time to give you two a bit more time to get a sense of what the other is about :)

I am in two minds about Evan, he seems nice enough but I don't have enough of a 'feel' for his personality yet. His messages are friendly but not over friendly, he doesn't say anything I find weird or awkward.

I agree with carorules, reading your answers was quite interesting!

As for Evan... if your gut feeling is telling you you would get along well in person, too, and you want to get to know him better, I'd advise you to meet up with him soon.
Sometimes the picture you've formed in your mind of what somebody may be like *can* differ strongly from how they really are in person, and it's better to find that out sooner than later.

But of course I hope everything will turn out wonderful and you'll hit it off in person as well!! :)

I reckon it's best to get the first meeting out of the way pretty quickly, so you can properly judge what they're really like. Otherwise you just end up wasting time on someone who seems cool via messages but ends up being a complete tool (such as some of the idiots I met up with when I tried Internet dating for a brief period!) haha.
