Oolong, clean spring water, sunlight through green trees. It smells like harvest-time on the air. I miss these things.

What can I do for you, Duong Ngai-Sang?

[It's a good thing this is a written correspondence, not a vocal one, because if it was, Discordia could hear the moment of hesitation in Ashoka's voice at the use of his family and legal name. Nevertheless, she's a goddess. He assumes she can see him anyway.]

A little piece of home, if you would be so kind. I know I'm not the only one who would appreciate fresh tea every now and then. Some camellia plants would be well-received.

And what would you give in return for some of these plants, hm?

I have very little in my possession that I think a goddess would find useful. Unless you too would like a river-dragon tooth.

When you say it like that, it reminds me of walking to school when I was a little girl.

Oh, is that so? It reminds me of sailing homeward for the year.

What did you think of school, was it something you enjoyed?

Only when I got older. Until junior high, it was a real pain getting up early, sometimes walking through snow. I'd be soaked and half-frozen by the time I made it to class.
