So, who is it that I have to kill to get my hands on a light, breezy sundress for the summer that isn't:

A) Skanky

B) Bunchy

C) Obviously designed for the sole purpose of hiding pregnancies

Really now. After spending an entire day combing thrift stores and the mall for some reasonably non-hideous, summer-in-the-god-awful-south clothes, I'm out ( Read more... )

I've been on birth control since I was 12, so, 10 years now. And I still sometimes don't remember to take them every day and my periods are still sometimes (slightly) irregular.

Honestly the best way for me to remember is I take them just before bed when I take other OMGIMPORTANT meds, like the antidepressant.

Yeah, that might help. I'm actually supposed to be on antidepressants too, but I haven't yet gotten to the point where I'm not too afraid to actually take them. But until it's established in my routine somehow I'll probably continue to forget. Sigh.

What's something you do every day? Like brush your teeth or keep a water bottle in your room? Setting them right next to that might help.

I have to take thyroid meds every day and I still forget sometimes to do it. I usually leave them next to the water bottle I drink from every morn, which helps.

Ha! I've been keeping them on the counter in the kitchen right next to the salt, and for some reason that is helping me remember. Thank you so much!

I set the alarm on my phone to go off every night at 8:00. I tried to pick a time when I am usually home and not doing much of anything (but I always keep the pills in my purse, just in case). It's really the only reason I ever remember to take my birth control.

Yeah, I've found that 8pm is pretty much the only time of day that I actually have the coherency to remember the stuff. I really never would have thought it would be this difficult...

Maybe you should link the action of taking the pill with something you do everyday, like brushing your teeth. (Or, on a weirder level. If you get up and go the bathroom every morning, have them and a bottle of water sitting next to the toilet.)
